Bueno Ventures Management Services brings the first ever set of professional Certifications in OBM. Backed by science, standards, ethical guidelines, and various pathways of practice, the OBM Certifications will support the practitioners venture in their own professional development, organizations will benefit from certified OBM practitioners enriched knowledge, skills and professionalism to improving bottom line results, and the OBM field at large will be supported by quality education and standards.

Bueno Ventures is proud to offer three Certifications: The OBM-Practitioner Certification (OBM-P), The OBM Expert Certifications (OBM-E), and the OBM-Executive Certification (OBM-Ex).

The OBM-Practitioner is the first in our Certification series, providing practitioners with the core set of knowledge, skills, and responsibilities of an OBM practitioner. The Certification covers the foundation of OBM as a science and practice, including OBM practitioner competencies, and implementing an OBM project.

The OBM-Practitioner Certification sets the foundation for our other Certifications. This course was designed by OBM practitioners to prepare the future OBM practitioner with the core concepts, principles and practices of the science.

Purpose: To develop core knowledge, skills, and responsibilities of OBM practitioners

What you will learn:

How long does it take to complete?

There are 3 parts:

Part 1: The OBM Core 120 – 150 minutes
Part 2: Beyond the Basics 90-120 minutes
Part 3: The OBM Professional is a blended learning experience with hands-on coaching from an OBM expert over 4-6 months with a culminating project/conference presentation
Must complete before pursuing OBM Expert and OBM Executive

What does it mean to be an expert? In a few words, an expert is an individual with unquestionable, comprehensive and authoritative knowledge and skill in a specialization. It’s the individual you contact when you have a question that without a doubt that person can answer or knows how to seek out the answer. It’s the person who can troubleshoot with you to get unstuck. The expert is the person in the room who is looking to help everyone make a positive difference, and do so with in-depth knowledge of the topic or industry. In short, an expert is the go-to person an organization needs to make things happen.

In the field of Organizational Behavior Management, similar to other fields like Human Resources, and the Law, you will find your general practitioners, and then you will find seasoned veterans who have shaped and honed their practice into one of several practice areas or industries.

A practitioner seeking to obtain such a career path has been hard pressed to do so in years past, mainly due to a lack of a clear pathway, lack of formal education, and lack of mentoring. Being an executive for an organization, whether it is a startup or a Fortune 100, the pressure is on, the stakes are high, and you are leading the organization to its future state – success or failure. Over the years, executives have sought counsel by professionals in various practice areas and OBM practitioners for decades have supported executives across the globe to unleash bottom line results using the science of behavior. These practitioners supporting the executive call themselves Executive Coaches.

Executive coaching is not a novel concept these days, nor is the education of executive coaches. Hundreds of private organizations, consultancies, and universities provider Executive Coaching services or professional development for practitioners.

Typically the Executive Coach learns a process for coaching, components to coaching executives such as goal setting and leadership skill development, and in some cases assessment instruments are used to gauge the executives progress before, during and after the coaching.

The OBM practitioner who supports executives has one major differentiator – the support is to make significant positive change to the individual executive and the organization as a whole, with a sharp eye to the bottom line. We call this practitioner the OBM-Executive.

The OBM-Executive Certification aims to provide strategic consultation and coaching to executive level management towards leading positive change. It is a role unlike any other for a practitioner, as the goals are ambitious and lofty at times, and the need for “big picture” thinking is truly a key ingredient to the practitioners repertoire. Education for OBM practitioners to support executives is slim, maybe even none. Typically it is learned over time, experience, mentoring, and situational. Sometimes a practitioner may never garner the skills needed and when they are faced with working at an executive level, they flounder. The time has come and Bueno Ventures is proud to offer the solution – The OBM-Executive Certification.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

No refunds for participants/cohorts upon enrollment (which can be before the start date of the cohort). If you need to cancel participating in a certification you will not receive a refund, but your spot in the next cohort for the certification will be reserved. If a certification does not run due to under enrollment, you will receive either a full refund, or you can transfer into a different certification program.
